Lexi Abeln, RN, IBCLC, CBC, CCE. Lexi is a labor and delivery nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), independent certified childbirth educator, trained doula, and experienced mother-birthing person-baby-family advocate with a focus on anti-racism, inclusivity, and informed choices. She leads several free monthly support groups: Birthlight, for families who have had difficult and traumatic birth experiences, and a free monthly birth circle for the local birthing and parenting community. She is also an active member of the Greater Harrisburg Healthy Start (GHHS) Community Action Network. Lexi has a passion for teaching and facilitating a holistic approach to pregnancy, labor, birth, and parenting, while embracing science and primal instincts and respecting culture and tradition. She has a huge happy family, with personal experience birthing in hospital and at home. She strongly believes in the inherent worth of all, “meeting people wherever they are,” and the possibility of creating world peace, one birth at a time.
