Did you know that breech birth in water is safer than on land? This is in part because it improves fetal oxygenation by increasing uterine blood supply during immersion. Cornelia also explains that frank breeches need no special maneuvers because water eliminates gravity. You will also learn how mobility of the mother in water allows better interaction of the baby through the pelvis, and that any maneuvers that may be required are easier in water.
