Rachel Knudson is a midwife in southern Minnesota. She earned a BA in anthropology from Grinnell College where she was introduced to contemporary midwifery. Rachel has studied midwifery with the National College of Midwifery and the House of the Matrona and apprenticed in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She expresses her gratitude to all the wise women mentors who have inspired and encouraged her along her labyrinthine journey and the numerous families who have invited her to be a witness to their transformations.
