Harvey Karp

Harvey Karp, MD, FAAP is a pediatrician and assistant professor of pediatrics at USC. He completed medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1976 and residency at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Afterwards, he completed simultaneous fellowships in child development and ambulatory pediatrics at UCLA. Dr. Karp’s innovative books and DVDs, The Happiest Baby on the Block and The Happiest Toddler on the Block, are among the world’s most popular parenting guides. His newest book, The Happiest Baby Guide to Great Sleep (Birth to 5 Years), will be released June, 2012. Over 2500 certified educators teach his work to new parents in America and other nations.
