Birth/Midwifery

  • www.panamama.org—Fundacion PanaMama is a non-profit organization formed by two moms who are doulas with a mission of opening the first birthing center in Panama, bringing more options and awareness to mamas—including midwifery. For now in virtual form, PanaMamas community offers birthing moms a plethora of birth-related services including DONA International trained doulas, prenatal workshops, prenatal yoga instruction, prenatal nutrition, home and water birth options, lactation consulting, nutrition and much more! For every four women that PanaMamas refers to a birth-related service or workshop, the service provider will donate 25% of the product or service rendered back to PanaMamas so that one expectant mother of indigenous or otherwise impoverished nature will receive the same service for free.
